Brock & Morten had a cracking product – cold-pressed rapeseed oil straight from their Derbyshire farm – but the branding wasn’t doing it any favours. It looked more “left at the farm gate” than “premium artisan delight”. That’s when they turned to us.
We worked with them to create a brand that reflected the quality of the oil inside the bottle – positioning them as a premium, small-batch producer at a time when rapeseed oil was still something of a culinary underdog. From baking to frying (and everything in between), we helped tell the story of its benefits with clarity and warmth.
The visual style focused on where it all begins: the golden glow of late-summer fields in Derbyshire. The photography was carefully curated to bottle that sunshine, bringing a natural, wholesome feel to the brand.
Since then, Brock & Morten have gone from local favourites at artisan markets to being stocked in regional retailers—and we like to think the new brand design helped grease the wheels (or the frying pan).
